Version 2.51.0​

  • Keep planning views up to date automatically: The employee planning and project utilisation views offer refresh intervals of 1, 5, 10 or 15 minutes. This is particularly useful for workshop monitors displaying the planning view: the 1-minute interval keeps the displayed plan up to date automatically. Automatic refresh pauses while bookings are being edited or selected.

  • See absence requests from codeto report in planning: Companies using codeto report can now configure requested absences to appear hatched in the planning view. Once approved, they are displayed as confirmed absences; changes are still made through the absence request in codeto report. This change currently has no effect for companies using only codeto plan; support for these companies is planned for a future version.

  • Review mobile bookings more clearly: In the mobile app’s day and week views, the times and notes of individual project and service bookings remain separate. Work equipment bookings no longer affect the suggested start time when creating a booking.

  • Create project phases with a clearer overview: When adding a project phase, the project’s start and end dates and existing phases remain visible. Invalid date ranges are highlighted immediately and can be corrected without leaving the form.

  • Select subsidiaries faster: The subsidiary selector can now be searched by ID, abbreviation, or name. Groups containing already selected subsidiaries are shown first, making it faster to narrow down the planning view.

  • Clearer terminology for absences: Active entries and templates are now more clearly separated in absence management. The terminology has been standardised without changing the existing behaviour.

  • Custom IDs for master data: Projects, employees, and service orders can now use meaningful custom IDs instead of relying only on automatically generated internal IDs.

  • Clearer legend in the utilization view: The labels in the utilization legend have been revised and sorted more consistently, making the displayed values easier to understand.

  • Faster views with large data volumes: planr has been further optimized so views with larger data volumes load faster.

Version 2.47.0​

  • Improvements in the Mobile App: The Mobile App now supports more workflows around dispositions: in the New arrangement dialog, project, service, and info bookings can be created or deleted, existing bookings are considered more accurately for new day bookings, and bookings with notes or a level of availability are easier to identify.

  • Clearer labels in Project hour control: The labels in Project hour control have been revised to make the fields easier to understand. The existing functionality remains unchanged.

  • New “Two Weeks” view: The “Two Weeks” option is now available. This allows planning through Friday of the following week without switching to the month view.

  • Clearer subsidiary selection: The subsidiary selection is now grouped: Parent entries can be expanded to show their subsidiaries. This makes selecting multiple subsidiaries faster and clearer.

Version 2.46.0​

  • Adjustable width of the first column: In planr, the width of the first column can now be adjusted directly in the overview to provide more space for the desired level of detail.

  • Automatic cleanup of outdated employee filters: Saved employee filters are now automatically cleaned up when employees are no longer relevant after their contract end date.

  • New detailed utilization view: In planr, employee utilization can now be analysed in a detailed percentage-based view. This makes under- and overutilization easier to identify at a glance. Clear colors, a legend, and an optimized layout further improve readability.

  • No manual absence entry when creating assignments: Absences can no longer be entered manually when creating new assignments. This makes data entry more consistent.

  • Stricter restrictions for read-only access: For users with read-only permissions, edit and delete actions have been consistently restricted in relevant detail views and in the scheduler.

  • Manual links now open the new documentation directly: Manual links have been standardized and now open the current documentation directly at docs.codeto.ch.

Version 2.45.0​

  • Redesigned Mobile App: The planr mobile app has been fundamentally redesigned. Users benefit from an improved dashboard, a personal calendar with day, week, and month views, the ability to manage arrangements directly in the app, a new "All Employees" view, and configurable push notifications.

  • Utilization Chart: Date labels are now displayed centered below the corresponding bar, improving the readability of the chart.

  • Improved loading times in the "Employees" view: Performance on the "Employees" page has been improved significantly. Especially in views with large amounts of data or broad date ranges, such as the month or year view, the page now loads nearly twice as fast in many cases.

  • Individually configurable detail views: Depending on the environment, information in detail views can be selectively shown or hidden for users with read-only permissions.

Version 2.43.0​

  • Visual highlighting of public holidays and weekends: Clearly marked with colours in the upper area of the calendar view to simplify planning.

  • Configurable favourite views: Users can define personal favourite views and hide views that are not needed.

  • Customisable colours for external absences: Full Access roles can define individual colours for external absences.

  • Alphabetical sorting in filters: In the Manage Filter screen, employees can now be sorted alphabetically with a single click. Manual sorting is also cached and no longer lost after an automatic refresh.
  • Pre-filled working hours in planning dialog: When opening the planning dialog via absence or info lines, the appropriate working hours of the company are now proposed automatically.
  • Faster deletion of projects/absences: The loading time for removing temporary projects and absences has been significantly reduced.

Bug Fixes and Optimization​

  • Various bugs have been fixed, and overall system performance has been further optimized.

  • See parallel bookings at a glance: In the day view, overlapping bookings are displayed in stacked rows. With two bookings, both titles and disposition levels are shown directly; with three or more, “Expand” opens an overview of all bookings. Bookings still cannot be edited in this view.
