Symbols and notes

codeto report uses recurring symbols and colours so that the status is recognisable at a glance.

Lock symbol (πŸ”’)

The entry is read-only. Typical reasons:

  • Forwarded: the report has been sent for approval.
  • Week closed: the entire week is locked, only readable.
  • Not the owner: the report belongs to someone else. Authorised users (recipients, masters) can still take action.
tip

Masters (FA) and Super Users (SU) have extended rights and can intervene in exceptional cases.

Exclamation mark (!)

Indicates a rule violation or an important point, e.g. a missing break, weekly hours exceeded, compensation without a balance. Check, correct or confirm the entry.

Report colours

  • Grey: planned / draft
  • Yellow: forwarded
  • Green: approved
  • Red: rejected

Week and row display

  • Closed week: row with lock icon and muted colours.
  • Open: normal display, no lock.
